Rhododendron Award
GHA participants will be sorted in their houses upon arrival. During the 2 week program, students will be encouraged to network, work together to complete challenges, and try to earn the Rhododentron Award for their house.
Each house will be awarded points for demonstrating the Core Values of West Virginia University:
Service
Curiosity
Respect
Accountability
Appreciation
Faculty and Staff will submit standout students each day for points to be awarded to their house.
Additional points may be given to reward groups for success in challenges or competitions throughout the program.
